Original TAS Sauces are brought to you from the great state of Georgia, known for real Barbecue cuisine.

Let me introduce myself and my products. I’m Thomas A. Standridge, the Founder and President of TAS INC. Known as Tom the TAS man, or just Tom. I retired in 1997 from the Columbus, Ga. Fire Department with 31 years of service. During those years I made sauces for Barbecues at local cookouts.

After I retired, people told me I should put my sauces on the market. So in November of 1997 I took my recipes, some that had been passed down through my family since the late 1930’s, and started TAS INC.

Barbecues and Firefighting run in the family; two of my uncles used some of the sauce recipes at Fire Dept. Barbecues in the 1940’s and 50’s. I joined the Fire Department in 1966, and carried on the tradition.
